Spring Mills, WV, April 4th 2025 Mark Harrell, President and CEO of CNB Bank, is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Hafner as Credit Officer. In this role, Hafner will work closely with the commercial lending team to support credit quality and manage risk through analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management.
Hafner brings a strong background in both finance and data analytics to the position. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from West Virginia University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Business Data Analytics from WVU.
He began his career at CNB Bank, serving as a Credit Analyst for more than two years. Hafner then spent three and a half years as a Financial Analyst with Valley Health before returning to CNB Bank to take on this new leadership role.
"We are excited to welcome Chris back to the CNB family,” said Harrell. “His analytical expertise and familiarity with our bank’s values and operations make him a strong asset to our credit team.”
Hafner currently resides in Spring Mills, West Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing in the area and traveling with his wife, Nathalie.
