Hagerstown, MD, March 4, 2025 Mark Harrell, President and CEO of CNB Bank, is proud to recognize Samantha ‘Sammi’ Mellott as the 2024 Employee of the Year. Since joining CNB Bank in 2020, Sammi has demonstrated outstanding dedication to her clients, colleagues, and community.
Sammi’s commitment to helping individuals and families achieve homeownership has made a lasting impact. Her ability to provide a seamless mortgage experience, coupled with her positive attitude and strong work ethic, has earned her multiple Employee of the Month nominations. One nomination stated, “Sammi is a trusted asset to our team. CNB Bank and the communities we serve are lucky to have her.”
In 2024 alone, Sammi successfully settled over $27 million in mortgage loans, demonstrating her expertise, work ethic, and the trust she has built within our community. Beyond her success in banking, she serves as Board Secretary for Girls on the Run of Mid & Western Maryland and Co-Chair for Leadership Washington County’s Alumni Committee.

Sammi attended Williamsport High School, Hagerstown Community College, and Shepherd University. Outside of work, she enjoys playing recreational volleyball and making memories with family and friends.
